Nestled in the heart of the Noosa hinterland, the town of Cooroy is a charming mix of country hospitality and culture. Settled in the 1880s as a timber town, Cooroy now attracts creatives, artists, foodies, producers and nature lovers alike.

The country town invites visitors to make a day of exploring the town with friendly cafes, restaurants, a boutique brewery and galleries. Browse boutiques, homewares, gifts and vintage treasures. Explore modern art at the Butter Factory Arts Centre or expand your knowledge with one of their art or ceramics workshops. Try your luck upcycling an outfit from one of the many opportunity shops along the main street or pop in with a picnic to see the magnificent blooms at the Botanical Gardens.

B&B’s, country cottages and rural retreats mean you can live out your cutest cottage core fantasies (or just have a beautiful weekend away) right here in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.

Looking for a good coffee whilst in town?

Fox and Hound is the local espresso bar that has been “slingin’ beans and makin’ dreams” since 2014. The business keeps Cooroy caffeinated and smiling all year round with great coffee and friendly service. Kirstie Darben (owner) and her small team of friend employees are working hard (and laughing) 7 days a week on the main street of Cooroy. In front of the barber shop, their space is the perfect place to pop in for a chat and a delicious brew.
