Art and emotion are intrinsically connected therefore the manifestation of a thought and the inception of a painting will commonly stem from an event or emotion that triggers a need to express, my works seek to capture the emotion of creation by displaying a naïve representation of that raw thought. Seeking to create pieces that can be appreciated as a whole without an abundance of explanation so that the viewer can leave with their own emotion attached to the work.
