ALEX STEVENSON

Living on the sunshine coast I am surrounded by the landscapes that have inspired my practice. Starting from a young age I was drawn the the landscape and expressing that through painting. Eventually progressing to the point of attending qca I found I did not fit in the the modern university art scene, so leaving at the end of my second year I found my love for painting strengthened and my view of my art practice solidified. This evolved slowly to become to colourful expression of the natural world that makes my art what it is today.
