Shikani Sargent is a visual artist living on the Sunshine Coast who incorporates text with traditional and digital collage to explore the psychological and sentimental connections of home.

This interest on home and the politics of space, is grounded in Sargent’s transient experience of living in 84 houses. Questioning what constitutes a stable home, Sargent explores themes of psychology, memory, fragility and the interior realms often with nostalgic aesthetics.
