My passion lies within oil painting realism, an area which I am mostly self taught in. I am currently studying in Meanjin/Brisbane, yet spent a decade growing up on the Sunshine Coast after moving from Aotearoa/New Zealand at nine years old. My time is mostly dedicated towards my very senile yet very sweet dog spikey; however, when I have a moment to myself, I enjoy capturing the vulnerability and intensity of a person within a portrait. I believe portraiture to be a powerful way of communication within art.
