Fiona Harding is an interdisciplinary artist based in Namba/Nambour. Working across painting, installation, sculpture, costume and video performance, her largely autobiographical practice plays with psychedelic themes to explore alternative perspectives. A reverence for nature, alongside the aim to translate its living presence is a core theme throughout her work. Hand-building techniques, involving accessible and natural materials, aim to further imbue self and nature within her practice.

Bright flat colours, singular stylised subject matter, symbolic use of gold, and simple compositions are visually employed as entry points to layered ideas. Current idea explorations include the connection between micro and macro worlds, the physical and the intangible, death and consciousness.
