Odessa Mahony-de Vries is a multi-disciplinary artist interested in the dichotomy between objects and materials. Graduated with a Fine Arts degree from RMIT in 2018 Odessa describes her work as mindful of abstract expressionist and formalist ideals, but ultimately disrupting traditional painting. Her mark-making practice is playful, haptic, and experimental.
