Libby Parke

Libby Parke is a printmaker and visual artist based in South East Queensland. Influenced by her studies in film and television, and her Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History, Libby uses her knowledge of bygone civilizations and mythology to reveal the evolution in the relationship between human societies and nature – exploring human reverence, rejection and reunion with the natural world. Currently undertaking a Masters of Teaching and Learning at USQ, she hopes to bring her passions for film and history to her teaching practice. Libby looks to expand on her printmaking arts practice by incorporating of sculpture, videography and mixed media.
