Daniele Avanzini
Daniele Avanzini is a self taught Italo Australian visual artist whose work bridges classical tradition with contemporary experimentation. Born in Milan in 1989 and raised between the United States and Sardegna, he developed his artistic foundation in Italy before refining his craft in London and later immersing himself in the Australian art scene. A lifelong passion for traveling continues to shape his artistic language, exposing him to diverse cultures and influences.
Working primarily with oil, charcoal, and mixed media, Avanzini draws inspiration from Surrealism, the Baroque, and Abstract Realism. His practice explores memory, identity, and the subconscious, often portraying figures within textured, dreamlike environments. Through symbols, shifting light, and raw mark-making, his paintings become stories where figures drift between reality and dream, inviting viewers into that uncertain space in between.
